Useful things to know.
Are you the seller of the cars shown on the site?
Not necessarily. Some cars are entrusted to me under a mandate, while others are presented as part of an assignment or an introduction. My role and the seller’s role are made clear for each dossier.
I have found a car. When should I contact you?
As early as possible if you want more information before making a decision. A listing, a link or the seller’s initial information is enough to start. Depending on the dossier, I can then look further into the history, price positioning, documents, seller discussions, inspection or negotiation. You do not need to wait until something feels wrong before sending me a car.
What if I do not yet know exactly which car to look for?
That is also part of the search. We can start with a specific model or a broader need: use, budget, specification, constraints and priorities. The first objective is to define what is genuinely worth looking for, then focus the effort on the right examples.
How far do you go when checking a car?
It depends on the vehicle, the assignment and the information that can be accessed. I cross-check the history, maintenance, documents, specification, available technical information, price and sale context. I distinguish what has been verified, what is stated by the seller and what still needs checking. When a physical or specialist inspection is required, it can be arranged with the appropriate professional.
Does the car need to be in France?
No. Part of my work is precisely to make a remote opportunity workable. Depending on the country and the dossier, I can coordinate discussions, checks or inspection, negotiation, transport and the steps required to bring the vehicle to its destination.

I’m Christopher Lacavé. I enjoy driving, understanding cars and taking the time to choose them properly. My role is to handle the project as a whole: search, checks, negotiation, paperwork and coordination of the people involved.
A passion lived every day
My involvement does not stop at coordination. Depending on the car and the work required, I also carry out certain interventions myself. Restoring my Clio 16S, bringing my BMW Z3 Coupé up to standard and maintaining my sports cars all feed this hands-on approach.
An analytical approach
My background in management and finance complements that practical experience: reviewing history, comparing options and understanding maintenance, price and future costs. You deal directly with me throughout the project.
