Model, transmission, specification, mileage, intended use and timing: we separate your essentials from areas where you can be flexible. The budget includes the purchase price and known work, transport and any relevant formalities.
Compare individual cars, not just adverts
I search in France and Europe, comparing the available information on provenance, maintenance, stated condition and asking price. I contact sellers and explain why an example makes the shortlist. An attractive advert alone is not enough to validate a car.
Check before committing
Service records, invoices, history and model-specific concerns guide the checks to request. Depending on the car and the agreed brief, an inspection, diagnostic check or paint-thickness survey may add to the file. I distinguish confirmed findings from unanswered questions before negotiation and the next steps.

Can you help with a car I have already found?
Yes. Support can be limited to reviewing an advert, the available records and the checks needed. Use the pre-purchase review option on the home page and include the listing, asking price and your questions.
How are fees and travel costs agreed?
The scope, fees and any expenses are agreed before work starts. A full search, help with negotiation and a one-off review involve different work. The final buying decision remains yours.
