01 / THE CAR

Capricorn experience.
Zagato signature.

A V8 behind you. A gear gate at your hand. A carbon structure designed for lightness. The 01 Zagato brings motorsport expertise and Zagato’s signature together in a car to savour from the driver’s seat.

Capricorn develops and manufactures components for Formula 1 and endurance racing, including Le Mans. Its Nürburgring facility has worked with composites since 2005. That experience continues in a carbon architecture, a rear mid-mounted supercharged V8 and a five-speed manual gearbox.

02 / THE GESTURE

Five gears.
Three pedals.

First gear down to the left. Analogue instruments. Physical controls. Inside, driving takes centre stage again.

Air conditioning, a reversing camera and four-wheel lift complete the equipment presented by Capricorn.

03 / THE SPECIFICATION

Three signatures.
Yours is still to be designed.

I design the body, wheels and interior as one whole. These three proposals show my choices: what the light should reveal, what the hand should feel and the detail that holds the composition together. Your car grows from your wishes and my perspective.

THREE SPECIFICATIONS DESIGNED BY CHRIS CARCHASER

Explore the three proposals

Mineral light.

Ivory reveals the volumes. Plum appears as the doors open. A luminous body, a deep interior and a warm, almost silver metal: three materials that echo one another without repeating.

  • Paint · Mineral ivory
  • Leather · Deep plum
  • Wheels · Pale champagne
  • Carbon · Natural

The line before the colour

I choose a slightly grey, gloss ivory to let the curves catch the light. Carbon stays concentrated on the aerodynamic elements and mirrors.

An interior that reveals itself

Plum leather brings unexpected depth against the light bodywork. I extend it to the steering wheel and gear knob to create continuity to the touch.

The shade that brings harmony

The very pale champagne wheels should remain close to silver. A gold that is too yellow would upset the balance between ivory, plum and carbon.

Independent design studies. Concept renders generated from 01 Zagato visuals; they are neither photographs of produced cars nor technical approval. Bespoke colours, materials, finishes and placements must be developed and confirmed with Capricorn, subject to feasibility and quotation.

04 / YOUR ACQUISITION

Your car.
A vision carried through to the end.

A beautiful specification rests on a few sound decisions. My role is to identify them with you, explain those I recommend and follow their implementation in your car.

When two choices conflict, I tell you which I favour and why. I connect this vision to your use, budget and the answers from Louyet and Capricorn. You know what is decided, what still needs clarification and what comes next.

Prepare for the moment it becomes yours

Driving position, garage access, transport and technical handover: I prepare the checks with you and keep decisions connected through to delivery.
